Sean Bates has joined Bair Tracks as Senior Smoke Editor/Designer/Operator in their online editing suite. Bates recent work includes an on-air promotion for TLC's "Junk Yard Wars”" and a teaser for the Witch Blade series on TNT. Bair also worked with the network's On Air Creative department to promote the re-launch of the ever popular "Law and Order," and "The X Files" series. A fourteen year veteran of the industry, Bates holds a BFA in Film and Video Production from York University in Toronto. After three years as Instructor and Technical Director for NUTV at the University of Calgary, he earned his editing stripes as Lead Production Editor for on-air promotions at A Channel in Calgary. He has worked with White Iron Digital of Canada and DK Productions, of Las Vegas, as Senior Editor. Most recently, Bates worked on film, broadcast programming, music videos, and spots for Post Master Digital.
