Watch out Atlanta, there's a new kid in town. Beatnik Productions, Inc. hit the scene this February through the efforts of veteran producer Shelley Culp, who will serve as Executive Producer of the fledgling company. "Beatnik is being marketed as a commercial film entity, bringing a whole new concept to the advertising agency's door. Although we have an excellent line-up of DPs and directors, we are offering our services more as a resource for the client to define. We want to not only offer a diverse group of talent but be a resource through which the client can have no boundaries."

Culp came to Atlanta from Charlotte seven years ago to serve as a Coordinating Producer at Crawford Communications. She then took on the role of Executive Producer at Wide Open Pictures, where she served for the last three years. Her background, spanning over 20 years in both production and post-production, will be key in her role as Executive Producer of Beatnik Productions.
