Freyer Pounces on Pogo

Pogo Pictures has added director, Zach Freyer, recent graduate of the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA, to its talent roster. Pogo will represent Freyer throughout the East Coast.

The son of the veteran advertising creative Tom Freyer, Zach was fascinated with filmmaking and photography at an early age, using the family camera to learn the principals of photography and how to develop film. Freyer took that passion to the Art Center College of Design, graduating earlier this year with honors and distinction. One of his senior projects, a spec spot for Budweiser set in 1966 that imagines the origins of the Super Bowl, won the 2004 Bronze Student Clio award.

Freyer most recently directed a music video for the indie band Interpol and their song "Not Even Jail". The video, a striking visual presentation of life through the eyes of a moth, is currently featured in art galleries in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam as part of an installation called "Space." Freyer also recently directed a commercial for a local Texas restaurant called Cottonpatch through agency Tracy Locke Partnership (TLP), in Dallas, TX.
