Atlanta-based video production company EditLab has garnered top honors in the 2004 Communicator Awards, an international awards competition recognizing outstanding work in the communications field. EditLab has been selected for three prestigious Crystal Awards of Excellence and an Award of Distinction.

The Communicator Awards competition received more than 2,900 entries from eight countries in 2004. According to the awards committee, the Communicator Award of Excellence rewards "companies and video professionals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry."

EditLab won two Awards of Excellence for its work on "The Dealers," a humorous and visually creative training piece produced in collaboration with Steiner Creative and The Morrison Agency for Auto Trader.com. EditLab earned a third Award of Excellence for creativity and use of graphics in an animated opening designed for Scientific- Atlanta. A fourth honor, The Crystal Award of Distinction, was awarded to EditLab for "Cingular Merchandising: RAEs Making It Happen," a training piece created in collaboration withCingular Wireless and CI Marketing Communications.
