Jay Montgomery of Jay Montgomery Illustration received the "Graphic Artists Guild National Volunteer of the Year Award" for 2001. The award recognizes his encouragement of Guild members, dedication to the Guild’s cause, and efforts to build a Graphic Artists Guild chapter in Atlanta. The chapter’s membership increased by 54% last year.
