Broadcast Designer Ed Ford has joined Magick Lantern's video graphics and design team. Ford has been an art director for Cartoon Network Latin America, and TNT Latin America and has done freelance work for TNT, Turner Classic Movies, and Cartoon Network. As Senior Art Director at LAPTV he was responsible for the on-air look of Movie City and The Film Zone.

Beyond upgrading its team, Magick has upgraded to a new Avid 9000XL suite. The new suite is compatible with Magick’s Symphony online suite. Magick Editor Jesenko Fazlagic recently put the to a test for a series of promotions for Cartoon Network. Fazlagic won at the MCAI MediaFest, taking home a Gold in the editing category. The award for best editing in corporate communications recognized an internal corporate video for Columbus based TSYS.

Editor Bazyl Dripps recently completed editing independent feature, "Burning Desire," a film from Tex Mex Productions directed by Roberto Rodriguiez Dripps began the project after the first day of shooting. Producers viewed a rough cut only weeks after shooting wrapped.

Magick also continued work with fitness guru, Denise Austin, to supply production facilities and to shoot on location the latest "Daily Workout" television programs.
