Two experimental shorts by Director Kreg Thornley were screened at Little Five Points Film Festival held at the Brewhouse Café. The first short, "Green Balance," is a story told in stream-of-consciousness about a tribal princess who learns the invaluable and undeniable truth that money does not buy happiness. "Thread" is an abstract piece exploring the relation of impermanence and freedom. According to Thornley, the shorts mix early 20^th century surrealism with eastern philosophical concepts.
