Photographer Meets "Angels and Monsters"

"Over the past eight years I have been on a journey with 25 children with cancer, 17 of whom have survived to thrive as happy teenagers and adults," said Photo grapher Billy Howard. Howard is referring to his work on a book chronicling the lives of children dealing with the realities of cancer. The book features photographs of the children captured by Howard as well as artwork created by the children with Art Therapist Lisa Murray. "Angels and Monsters: A Child's Eye View of Cancer" will be on sale in bookstores this August as well as on Amazon.com and other book related web sites.

Popular, down to earth comedian Jeff Foxworthy provided the book’s introduction: "They will tell you that they just want to be 'normal.' They are anything but. Having stood toe to toe with this monster, they are never the same again, and having known them, neither am I."

One hundred percent of the royalties from the sale of this book will go to The American Cancer Society to assist in their efforts.
