Grant Design Collaborative's team just grew by a production manager and two designers. Annette Ortiz is Grant’s new Production Manager and Brandon Haynes and Albert Whitley will join the firm’s design team. Ortiz most recently was Executive Vice President at ATI, managing sales and marketing for the Imaging & Design and Press divisions. She brings 25 years of experience in traditional and digital print processes and computer graphics. Whitley is a graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta. Prior to joining Grant, he was a Designer with Jones Worley Design, Inc.

Haynes graduated from Georgia State University where his senior portfolio won AIGA Atlanta's annual student portfolio competition.

For the fourth time, the creative firm grabbed the IIDA Creative Excellence Award at NeoCon 2002. Sponsored by the International Interior Design Association, Creative Excellence awards are presented annually to leaders in showroom and exhibit design. It is the largest trade fair for the commercial furnishings industry. Grant's PatternLok 2.0 exhibit for SI Flooring Systems was selected from hundreds of entries for design excellence and innovative use of product. Branded "The Art and Science of PatternLok 2.0," the exhibit featured a blend of scientific and artistic fixtures, including two rear projection videos running interactive short films.
