The author of the Coiled & Ready to Strike story, Lee Drew , is a very quiet guy.



A native of Indiana and a graduate of Purdue University and Emory University Law School, Jon Lee Andersen, Esq. has been a practicing attorney in Atlanta for over 15 years. He focuses his practice in the advertising, marketing, promotion and intellectual property fields. His clients include advertising agencies, marketing firms, traditional retail and wholesale businesses, e-commerce companies and freelance professionals. A regular lecturer at The Portfolio Center and The Creative Circus, Andersen's work includes advice and assistance in sweepstakes, contests, promotions, unfair trade practice, labeling, testimonials and endorsements, copyright, trademark and licensing matters.






Jay Montgomery, illustrator for this issue's cover has known ever since he was able to pick up a crayon he wanted to be an artist. He is a native to Atlanta and a graduate of LaGrange College and Portfolio Center. For the past seven years he has been working out of his home/studio near Atlanta, GA as a freelance illustrator. Jay's extensive experience in illustration also allowed him to give back to the community by teaching illustration at Portfolio Center, and currently at the Atlanta College of Art. Jay was also the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild for 3 years and is still active. When heÕs not working, he spends time with his wife Cindi, 18-month-old daughter, Suzanne, and 4-month-old son, Jackson.







Either Lisa Cunard has the largest head at Kudzu or the hats are very small, because she wears more of them than anyone else. Art Director, Designer, Production Manager, Production Worker, Color Specialist, CSR, and Account Manager are but a few of the chapeaux she dons daily. When not being amazing she can generally be found watching Law & Order. CunardÕs design can be seen on pages 26 to 29.
