Allen Rabinowitz has been contributing to Oz since 1993, covering almost every aspect of creative endeavors in Atlanta. If you don't know his story by now, you haven't been reading this space.

A native of Indiana and a graduate of Purdue University and Emory University Law School,Jon Lee Anderson, ESQ has been a practicing attorney in Atlanta for over 15 years. He focuses his practice in the advertising, marketing, promotion and intellectual property fields. His clients include advertising agencies, marketing firms, traditional retail and wholesale businesses, e-commerce companies and freelance professionals. A regular lecturer at the Portfolio Center and The Creative Circus, Anderson's work includes advice and assistance in sweepstakes, contests, promotions, unfair trade practice, labeling, testimonials and endorsements, copyright, trademark and licensing matters.

Kendra Bentle, Oz Magazine's OzCetera editor, came to Atlanta with the delusion that nothing could be more viciously hot than an Ohio River Valley summer. She was obviously naive, and sorely mistaken. A native of Lawrenceburg, IN, Kendra is a graduate of Ball State University, a former student of The Portfolio Center, and a job-seeking intern at Iconologic in Midtown. Her credits include contract work for the Coca-Cola Companies as well as freelance copywriting for a variety of clients. She lives in Grant Park, watches way too much TV, and is very excited to work for Oz.

The Cover designer, Michael Brooks, emphasizes concept in design. "Design is the purest form of communication. Without concept, design is, at most, just a pretty picture," says Brooks, owner of Brooks Advertising & Design Co. Inc. (Bad Ink), which specializes in publication and entertainment design. Brooks is a graduate of Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. He worked as a graphic designer in Southern California for two years before moving back to Georgia and starting SPEC magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to dining and entertainment. SPEC evolved into Albany magazine in March 1995, which he published until selling the magazine in September 1999. During his ownership of Albany magazine, Brooks won numerous awards and grew the publication into a mainstream media. Brooks held the position of design track chair for the Magazine Association of Georgia for 2000, 2001, and 2002. Meet Michael Brooks at badink.com.

Photographer for the Cover design, Robert Edwards, operates his studio in Albany, Georgia. Upon graduating from college, he worked 11 years for a commercial studio servicing national clientele. He has been self-employed for the past 22 years offering portrait, wedding, product and commercial photography. He has won first place awards from the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association and from the Georgia's Professional Photographers Association. Recently, his photography won three first place awards from the Magazine Association of Georgia for "Best Cover" and "Best Photography". His greatest of all rewards comes from the satisfaction of his clients enjoying beautiful portraits of loved ones in their homes. Robert has been married for 27 years to his wife Carlton, and they have 22 year old twins, Laura and Bob.
