The Essence of The Oxidine Group


For the second year in a row, marketing services company The Oxidine Group will handle the logistics and details associated with sponsor activities and promotions for the Essence Music Festival (EMF). Held during the Fourth of July weekend in New Orleans, the festival is a yearly, three day cultural and music shindig featuring a variety of big name sponsors, including title sponsors Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Burger King, Southwest Airlines, Budweiser and Luster's. Oxidine was chosen from a field of 10 other marketing companies for the contract and will handle responsibilities including: facilitating the coordination of each sponsor's hospitality accommodations at the Louisiana Superdome during each evening concert; coordinating the delivery of sponsor collateral materials, such as signage and premiums; assisting with communication and PR efforts; pre-planning and managing on site load in and load out of sponsor exhibit booths; and, coordinating celebrity signings and appearances.
