Atlanta-based direct marketing firm Grizzard Performance Group has been selected to manage a new marketing initiative for SCANA Energy. The work - a direct mail campaign - centers on SCANA Energy's exclusive six-month fixed rate plan for natural gas users.

To communicate SCANA's new six-month contract option, Grizzard created a "Fixed-for-6" identity to instantly convey the product's unique selling proposition, and the gas company's fixed rate. The campaign consists of two direct mail pieces, one to target more than 370,000 Georgia consumers, followed by a second that will reach 170,000 Georgia residents. The campaign communicates the ease of switching gas providers, touting customers' ability to switch via phone, internet, or mail. The whole shebang launched in October 2003.
