BBDO Atlanta Brings on Palma and Teasdale

Changes, changes. BBDO Atlanta made some recently, with the February 23 instatement of Michael Palma as senior vice president and director of business development, and the transatlantic relocation of new vice chairman and executive planning director Mike Teasdale. Palma will lead the agency's new business efforts; Teasdale will oversee planning on the firm's Cingular Wireless account.

In 1989, Palma founded Creative Search, the southeast's premier advertising recruitment firm, through which he placed over 300 of the advertising industry's best and brightest professionals. Following Creative Search, Mr. Palma steered Cole Henderson Drake (CHD) to win notable accounts, including Rooms To Go, NASCAR.com and Mauna Lani Bay Resort. Most recently Palma was in charge of business development for Bayless Cronin in Atlanta.

Formerly of BBDO/AMV London, Teasdale was responsible for planning on British Telecom, The Famous Grouse and VisitLondon. His resume also includes stints at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Ogilvy & Mather in London. Teasdale will divide his time between BBDO's Atlanta and New York offices.

BBDO recently kicked off spring in a big way with a new campaign for Bayer Advanced Products' All-In-One Rose & Flower Care and Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf. The campaign also touts the benefits of a variety of other Bayer garden products, and includes executions in TV, print, and radio. The campaign broke in early March, and can be seen on HGTV, A&E, The History Channel, and The Discovery Channel.
