Content at DAVE Networks

DAVE Networks gained spotlight status recently, as the internet broadcasting company hit the net-waves with a new video, a new downloadable music and video service, and a visit to the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show. The video was a promotional piece for The Wolf, Inc., a corporate concierge company headquartered in Atlanta. The video was completed in Windows Media 9 and is linked and playable through the site and via links in The Wolf's email marketing. It was produced by Kamaal Malak at DAVE TV Productions.

DAVE Networks' director of content, Ashley Liebke, is digging up stories as she programs secure channels of downloadable music and video entertainment for a growing company positioned to change the way people enjoy entertainment. The company and its software, the DAVE MEDIA CENTER (DMC), are not yet live, but it's actively seeking to syndicate and license content from such big studios as MGM to emerging local startups, including Silver Screen Studios and Transmission Films of New York, who recently signed a film distribution agreement and will utilize DAVE Networks' application to distribute their catalog of indy and international films to the masses. DAVE allows for pay-per-view rentals or permanent downloads of films, music, and images, allowing indy filmmakers and commercial producers to share their content in Windows Media 9 format through DMC, and to earn revenue. Film festivals nationwide have responded to the opportunity to place the year's films on their own channels in the DMC.

DAVE also recently participated in the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show as a Microsoft Embedded Devices Partner in Microsoft's Embedded Devices Showcase.
