IMAGE (Independent Media Artists of Georgia, Etc.) is on the search for an executive director, as the group's current ED follows his heart back to the Big Apple.

Jon Aaron, IMAGE board chair, reports "We are very proud of the leadership that Brian Newman, our current ED, has demonstrated throughout the tremendous growth of our organization over the last four years. Brian will continue to lead IMAGE through this year's Atlanta Film Festival in June before his move to NYC."

The IMAGE Search Committee is looking both locally and nationwide for an experienced individual to lead the organization. "We have a very ambitious five-year strategic plan for further developing and promoting the independent film industry here in Georgia," says Aaron. "And we're looking for someone with the passion, ideas and enthusiasm to help us do it."
