Talkin' Color

For the second year in a row, "Color Talk," presented by The EPI Companies, created a stir in the marketing community as hundreds of interested corporate communications executives, marketing coordinators and print procurement specialists descended on downtown Atlanta for the company's signature event.

"Color Talk" was held at the Sheraton Atlanta and drew over 400 attendees.

Following on the momentum of last year's event, the program featured a presentation by Leatrice Eiseman, a color specialist who has been called "America's color guru." Eiseman's color expertise is recognized internationally, particularly through her work as executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. She has helped many companies, from small one-person start-ups to large corporations, make the best and most educated choice of color for product development, logos and brand imaging.

EPI's "Color Talk" presentation addressed the psychology and emotion of color; consumer and client color preferences; color forecasts; and cultural, socio-economic, entertainment, and fashion influences.

"Color Talk" was preceded by a reception featuring 29 exhibits and booths from several marketing and graphic communication associations, major paper mills, and the media, including representatives from OZ Magazine and Atlanta Business Chronicle. PrintAmerica, a group of 11 peer companies from across the country, also attended the event. EPI sponsored the event as an educational opportunity for clients and prospects, and to build awareness of the company's single source array of marketing services.
