Symphony Appears At Guillotine Symphony Appears At Guillotine Guillotine Post Design has added an AVID Symphony to its cozy downtown boutique. Michael Koepenick, Senior Editor and Owner of Guillotine, states the resolution is amazing, and it operates just like an AVID Media Composer with a few extra bells and whistles. He goes on to say they can work uncompressed or at offline resolutions, and it can easily conform any other AVID project or EDL.

It seems that AVID Technologies is equally impressed with Guillotine, and is planning to use several shows on Guillotine's demo reel at the 1999 NAB Convention. Included is a meeting open for Milliken, edited by Koepenick and produced by Ben Barineau for Blue Marble Media. The open was chosen to help demo the Symphony product. Koepenick has also been putting the new system to the test with producer Glen Owen, and a national spot for TNT Sports featuring Michelle Kwan promoting the Japan Open.

Guillotine also posted a documentary on the legal firm Sutherland, Asbill, and Brennan for Intrepid Pictures. Editor Fred Duffer and producer Chris Hilsabeck chronicled 75 years of the Washington, DC. based law firm. Other recent projects at Guillotine include Worldspan, Arby's, Siemens, and Check Free for Blue Marble Media. Guillotine also worked on a marketing capabilities video for Creative Director Rhaz Zeisler of IBM Interactive.
