African Film Festival – Reversing The Negative African Film Festival – Reversing The Negative Clark Atlanta University's fourth annual African Film Festival – Reversing the Negative will take place April 22-25, 1999, during CAU's Spring Arts Festival. On April 9, the Celebration Party Benefit will kick off the Festival.

The festival shares the best films about the multifaceted global experience of African and African descended people through the eyes of African and African descended filmmakers. A Celebration of African American Filmaking is the theme of this year's exciting festival which will include film screenings, followed by facilitated discussion, a Children/Family Film Program, Friday Seminars, Saturday Filmmaker Symposiums, and the African Marketplace. An audience of over a thousand is expected to attend this event which celebrates the contributions of filmmakers from the African Diaspora. Clark Atlanta University's Division of Communication Arts produces the festival.
