Winter brought several unusual assignments for food stylist Linda Hogue. She began with a banana. Not a single banana, mind you, but 25 boxes per day picked up at the Farmer’s Market for four days running. Hogue proceeded to sort through the boxes in search of the perfect bunch of fruit. The bunches were to star in a Dole commercial with Bobby Banana & kids doing the “Banana Shuffle.” After the shoot, the cases were distributed to local food banks and charities. Hogue then sorted candy. No cooking in a hot kitchen only to have the soufflé fail. No, just dusting, placing, and arranging. Hogue was also able to work with Sea Pak, Publix, Jim Beam Steak Sauces, menu boards for Zaxby’s, and promotional food shots for Delta Air Lines Business Class.
