Guillotine Stays Hot Guillotine Stays Hot

Guillotine Post Design is continuing it’s revolutionary ways, contributing to a number of successful edits for broadcast and corporate support. Producer Clara Zwirble, working for Turner South along with Production Assistant Mike Phillips, collaborated with editors Michael Koepenick and Jimmy Milans to post a 30 minute episode for Southern Living Presents. Shot on location in Oxford, Mississippi, the show highlighted the home of notorious southern author William Faulkner as well as authentic blues preservationist label Fat Possum Records and some of the local culinary attractions and crafts.

Other projects for Turner South include spots for the True Grits Movie Marathon, with Bill Taft producing while Koepenick tag teamed with staff editor Christo Harris. Turner producer Caroline Young worked with Harris to post promos for upcoming Live From The Bluebird episodes. She also worked with Harris to post image spots promoting Turner South’s burgeoning movie roster. Chuck Moore produced spring network image spots to run throughout the spring and into summer; Koepenick handled editing duties.

Kurt Tausche made his first trip to Guillotine, cutting commercials for Cox Communications touting their interactive services. With production being handled in conjunction with Fireside Productions, Kurt edited spots with Koepenick. The commercials lay out Cox’s interactive capabilities and are currently airing regionally.

Production Group International Producer/Writer Cecil Sharp continued his act as the hardest working man in Atlanta, juggling videos for BellSouth, Federal Express, and Xerox. Fred Duffer was in the editor’s chair while Sharp managed to coordinate several shows on and off site.

Turner Classic Movies’ Producer Kelli Christiansen returned to Guillotine, crafting beautiful spots promoting TCM’s Rod Steiger Special. Aspen Productions, under the guidance of Producers Steve Rutherford, Michael Pietrobon, and Samantha Young, posted a series of video packages for Delta Air Lines. Editors Gian Ganziano, Fred Duffer, Christo Harris, and Jimmy Milans worked day and night to complete support videos featuring customer and employee feedback as well as Delta’s brand history. Other videos dealt with the power of branding and Delta’s year in review (a project that returned to Guillotine for it’s 4th update).

A Telly Award went to Turner Classic Movies for a mini-documentary on Natalie Wood. Congratulations to TCM Producer Ruth Anna Millman who toiled at Guillotine with Koepenick. Rumor has it that Guillotine recently purchased a piece of property in Midtown. We guess that a loft couldn’t contain ‘em. Keep your eyes on this space for developments...
