Letter From the Publisher Letter From the Publisher

If you are a consumer of visual communication services, Oz Publishing, Inc. has one message for you: Creative talent in Georgia means business!

Atlanta has become a great city. Long before becoming a great city, though, Atlanta was a city with great creative talent. Oz Magazine has been sending this message for eight years. In those years, Oz’s annual edition, Creative Index, has provided you with the resources you need to meet and exceed the vision and goals you have set for your creative, marketing, and communication needs. Throughout the Creative Index you will find ideas and execution, talent and skill, and a zesty mix of fun and professionalism.

It has been my pleasure and good fortune to build Oz Magazine with many of the people and companies listed in the Creative Index. Their supply of ideas, writing, art, design - and most of all, inspiration, motivation and creativity - is seemingly infinite. In the grand scheme, they have made me much more than a publisher. They have made me the luckiest person in the world! These creative and giving souls have made me a better person and Oz a better magazine.

A couple of quick examples show the good fortune of working with Atlanta’s creative talent. The first is the issue you are holding. It has been completely redesigned with a new logo. If you can indulge a moment of self-confidence, we are eagerly awaiting feedback from our regular readers on the redesign and new logo. Digitize your feedback! Send me an e-mail, oz@ozonline.tv.

In addition, at the Magazine Association of Georgia’s annual GAMMA awards, Oz Magazine won three gold awards in the Business to Business category: Best Cover, Best Design, and Overall Excellence. None of this, neither the updated design and logo nor the awards, would have been possible without the able and willing help of many Atlanta creatives.

On behalf of the full time employees and the many freelancers working for Oz Publishing, thank you for reading Oz Magazine. Come to Atlanta for your visual and marketing communication needs. You will be a better person for it!

Sincerely,

Tia Powell
